Meet the Team
Ben Harding
Owner and Lead Arborist
Founding TreeLab delves deeper than wanting to provide an unbeatable level of service - I've wanted to be a tree surgeon for as long as I can remember. So much so, I wrote in my primary school leaver's book I wanted to be a "Tree Surgon with my own busness", yes spelt like that all those years ago. My spelling may or may not have improved, but my knowledge of Arboriculture certainly has.

Heading straight into working with trees at the age of 16, I completed an Extended Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture from world-renowned Merrist Wood College. I've amassed a range of experience from working in the Royal Parks and Kensington Palace Gardens, to subcontracting for Network Rail clearing trees and many, many jobs in domestic gardens.

I founded TreeLab with a love for both trees and entrepreneurship, after graduating with a first class degree in Business Management from Plymouth University. I believe this mix sets up TreeLab for delivering an unrivalled level of service.
